Lauren is the Gold Star daughter of Captain Joseph M. Berkson\, a United States Army Ranger who was killed-in-action in Vietnam in 1972. With the support of the City of West Palm Beach and the community\, Lauren led th e project to build the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument in Trinity Pa rk along Flagler Drive. She worked with the Hershel Woody Williams Medal of Honor Foundation to realize the Foundation’s mission of erecting these monuments in all fifty states. During the Community Exhibition\, visitors of all ages will experience the history and design of rare\, one of a kind\, classic pre- and post- war automobil es in this “dream car” exhibition. Group tours by renowned automotive his torians will be offered throughout the day\, and guests will have the opp ortunity to be the judges and cast their votes for Most Artistic\, Most E legant\, People’s Choice\, Sculptural Speed and the Young Connoisseurs’ A ward.
